The DebtonatorTM will be the most important section of money100 for some members. A tool that can help them take control of their borrowings can't be underestimated. This system is simple. Controlling spending and using the amount saved to pay extra off the debt with the lowest pay off ratio. Just watch the momentum build as loans start to be paid off! Go to the Debtonator subsection in handling debt for an example and more information.
The Cash Diary is used to monitor spending. The time frame is up to you. The ultimate goal after using the cash diary for a while is that all non essential spending to be made only after careful deliberation. A question should now be asked, Do I need to spend my money on this? This is different to many people whose spending habits are uncontrolled.
